Put it on
As easy as 1, 2, 3
1. Hold the pocket end in your hand with the curved pouch hanging down. The curved pouch is where your baby rests, the pocket will be at your shoulder
2. Put the babypod on either shoulder like a sash so that the velcro of the pocket is beside your neck
3. Swivel the babypod so the curved seam is in front of your tummy forming the pouch for your baby
Five
different positions
1. Cuddle

Recommended from newborn.
1. Lie your baby on your free arm, head nestled in your hand and bottom in
your elbow
2. Open the pouch
3. Aim your elbow and your baby's bottom at the curved seam
4. Lower in his bottom and back
5. Wriggle your arm out leaving his bottom at the curved seam and his head
higher up by your breast
* To breastfeed roll your baby so you are tummy-to-tummy and pull fabric aside
2.
Bhudda baby
Recommended for babies who can sit with support and hold their head up
1. Have the logo in line with your belly button
2. Hold baby up high on your chest, her back to your belly
3. Open the pouch
4. Cross her legs and sit her in. The seam should line up with both of your
belly buttons
5. Lean her back against you. Now she can sit unaided waving or holding the
sling. 10/10 cute points
3.
Baby Hip-sit
Recommended for babies who can sit with support and hold their head up but
cannot stand
1. Hold baby up high on your chest, her belly to your belly
2. Open the pouch
3. Cross her legs and sit her in
4.
Hip-sit
Recommended for larger babies who can hold their head
up and sit unaided
1. Fold in 3 inches of fabric on the inner side of the pouch (this protects
your childs legs from getting uncomfy and stops the pouch from being too deep)
2. Stand child on a chair, arms up
3. Slide pouch down over child and under their knees
4. Sit him into the babypod by snuggling his bottom into the pouch
5. Pull the babypod up under his arms. You can try the babypod pulled up above
his shoulders for a more supported ride
* Children of this age are heavy, it much easier with a babypod
5. Backpack
Recommended for babies who can hold their head up and sit unaided
1. Start from hip-sit
2. Tuck your baby’s arms in and the babypod up over his shoulders
3. Swivel your baby and babypod round from hip sitting round to your back

Getting baby out
Simply reverse the procedure
Feeding
Pull down the lower layer of your babypod, the top layer forms a curtain
so you can latch your baby on discreetly
Premature babies
You may want to put something soft under your baby so she doesn't
sit too low in the babypod
Twins
Two slings, one over each shoulder and a baby in each!
First timers
With only a short amount of practice you will be using babypod effortlessly.
Try practising over a soft bed, with a doll, or in front of a mirror.
Put your baby in, for the first time, when he’s feeling relaxed.
Beware of putting your baby into ‘'no pouch' by
forgetting to open the pouch or by opening both sides.
Backache
We recommend you don't use one shoulder exclusively to carry
your baby on as this will be detrimental to your posture and
long term ability to keep carrying your baby. By using both sides you
will keep your body well balanced.
Whatever method of carrying your baby you choose sooner
or later your baby will become heavy and your back will ache –- it
could be after 1/2 hour carrying a 6 month old or 4 hours carrying a 3
year old. This depends on your posture and the strength of your back.
Older children
We recommend that the sling is used for older children as an addition
to a pram or walking. A sling is small to carry and invaluable in situations
such as busy airports, transferring a sleeping child and clingy phases.
When a toddler wants to walk but can't manage the whole
way (ie. to pick up a sibling from school), babypod is a lifesaver. Your
toddler can be independent and get exercise.
Remember we also sell slings for kids - perfect for an older sibling when a new arrival comes!
